Angela Lynn Ray

Angela Ray, age 48 of Gallatin, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center after a brief illness.

A native of Tipton, Indiana, she was born to the late Lois (Parton) Thurman.  She worked for part of her life as a caregiver to others, and worked in a couple of our local restaurants in Gallatin.  She is survived by her children, Andrea Ray Duncan and her husband Stacy of Gallatin, Sam Ray II and his wife Madison of Maurepas, Louisiana; granddaughter, Teagan Duncan; brother, Raymond Summers; and sister, Sara White.

It was Ms. Ray’s wishes to have a gathering of her family and friends to celebrate her life rather than any formal services, therefore the gathering of friends and family will take place on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and will resume on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. here at the funeral home.
