David Ace Harrington

David Ace Harrington, age 66 of Nashville, TN was taken from his loved ones far too soon on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born in Memphis, TN to the late Billy and Helen (Lawrence) Harrington.

Ace was a Vanderbilt graduate and successful entrepreneur. He was the Founder of MTA Distributors, America’s largest rental equipment distribution company. He was an influential business leader that helped in the growth of Sumner and Davidson counties. 

Ace had a larger-than-life personality and surrounded himself with many great friends. He was loyal, passionate and genuine.

His proudest achievement was his family, Tina, Lauren and Daniel. He was a coach, scout leader, mentor and loving dad.

His eternal legacy will be the memories he made with his loving family, friendships, and in business.

He is survived by his children, Tina Marie Hochman (Brian), Lauren Grace Malone, Daniel Ace Harrington all of Gallatin; beloved companion Latte Harrington; brothers, John Harrington and Mark Harrington (Jess); Step grandchildren, Matthew, Mia and Lucas Hochman.

A celebration of life service will be held on January 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at The Chapel at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
