David Leon Vaughn, Jr.

David Leon Vaughn, Sr. age 68 of Gallatin passed away Sunday April 19, 2015 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Mr. Vaughn was born in Sumner County on June 30, 1945. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.  He was preceded in death by his father Mac Vaughn, mother, Mildred Keith Vaughn Thaxton, and step-father Harvey Ernest Thaxton, sisters, Frances Brown and Patricia Murphy and brother, George Vaughn. He served in the US Army, and was a Millwright working out of Local 1554.

He is survived by his wife Christina Cummings Vaughn of Gallatin, sons, Kenneth Vaughn of Cottontown, Bruce Vaughn and wife Lora of Portland and Lee Vaughn and wife Sara of Castalian Springs, sisters, Maxine Rather and husband M.C. of Mt. Juliet and Mary Jackson and husband Ed of Gallatin, brother, Harvey Thaxton and wife Connie of Gallatin, nine grandchildren, Caleb, Kacey, Josh, Amanda, Cody, Andrew, Seth, Nicholas and Jada, and five great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at andersonfuneralhome.org.  Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home 202 East Main Street Gallatin, TN (615) 461-7777
