John "Johnny" W. Raines

John W. Raines, age 67 of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Nashville to the late James H. Raines Sr. and Electra Bishop Raines.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Etheridge Raines; brothers, Robbie Raines, Steve Raines, and Jackie Raines. 

He is survived by his siblings, James H. “Jim” Raines Jr. and wife Ann; Roger Raines and wife Sharon, Mark Raines and wife Scotty, Carolyn Brooks and husband Marty; step-daughter, Twyla Simmons and husband Chris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from the Young Cemetery in Kingston Springs, TN with Bro. Owen Powell officiating.
