Lorelle Anderson, age 95, of Portland, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin with Bro. Ralph Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Lynn and George Bush. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday 12:00. Noon until time of service. Mrs. Anderson was born in Smith County on May 28, 1918 daughter of the late Floyd Franklin and Osha Mae (Smith) Woodard. Mrs. Anderson retired from the J.C. Penney Company and was a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church in Portland and was also a long time member of the Dickerson Road Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Cecil E. “Tib” Anderson; brothers, Ray Woodard and Winburn Woodard; great-grandchild, Raegan Pitt. She is survived by her son, Roger Anderson (Shirley) of Portland; grandchildren, Lori Anderson of Portland, Ashlee Buck (Josh) of Springfield, Bethany Pitt (Stephen)of Coopertown, Gary Beck (Angela) of Franklin, KY, Steven Beck (Chellie) of Springfield; 12 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Paul Woodard of Mayfield, KY; sisters, Thelma McCloskey (Thomas) of Lenoir City, Lucy Lamberth of Portland, and Joyce Atchison (Thomas) of Whitehouse; numerous nieces, nephews also survive.
